High Intensity Interval Training is sure to get your heart rate pumping. Suitable for the advanced fitness fanatic however can be regressed with the addition of an incline and omitting the jumping.
Back 2 Basics is our beginner workout that is suitable for pregnant, new to exercise, or participants wanting less jumping and intensity but still getting the heart rate up. Incline is recommended for participants just starting out.
Our strength class is called Tabata Max. It does require weights (recommend household items) It is a full body workout which will tone, lift your heart rate and help strengthen your back and your core.
Our Fundamentals class is for post-natal, over 60's or clients returning to exercise from an injury. Full body workout using small household items (small weights or canned food) as well as a chair to help with balance. The workout will help strengthen the core and work on mobility and overall body strength.
Pilates is a lovely session that will strengthen your full body. It involves slow, controlled movements where brain to muscle engagement is heightened. Most moves require your core and your glutes. If you experience weakness in your lower back and a weak core, this is a great workout to do.
Our Yoga instructor Katie is trained in Ashtanga Yoga which translates as ‘eight limbs’. The physical yoga (postures) is the third limb. Yoga aims to unify the mind, body and soul. We work on the physical busy through the intelligent control of the mind. The effects of yoga are taken way beyond the mat into our everyday lives and interactions with people. (30-40 minute session)
